The Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures is a committee that monitors developments in payment, settlement and clearing systems in an attempt to contribute to efficient payment and settlement systems globally and build strong market infrastructure.

The CMPI is made up of representatives of the central banks of around 30 countries worldwide.
It is hosted by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel/Switzerland.
Prior to 2014, the committee was named Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems (CPSS).
