The Estonian Kroon (Estonian kroon) was the official currency of Estonia before the country adopted the Euro. It was in use from 1992 to 2011.
The Estonian Kroon was introduced after Estonia gained independence in 1992. It was replaced by the Euro on January 1, 2011, when Estonia, along with several other European countries, adopted the common currency.

Since the adoption of the Euro, the Estonian Kroon is no longer in circulation, and any remaining banknotes and coins are considered collector's items. The Euro is now the official currency used in Estonia.
