Details for keyboard shortcut «Cut» in Excel for Mac OS

This shortcut puts the entire content of the selected cell(s) on the clipboard. This includes values, formulas, formatting, borders, fills, etc.

After the operation the cells will be empty and have default formatting.

Note: Paste Special cannot be used in conjunction with "cut". The latter only works with copy.
